Stories & Legends
Orchids have inspired such passion that collectors nearly wiped out entire species, causing them to become protected under international law. Some orchids resemble parts of the human anatomy; others look like animals or mythical beasts. Their array of intriguing shapes has inspired strange names and fantastic characters.
Through cabaret, fable and poetry the marvellous Mika, reveals the deepest, darkest secrets of this mysterious flower in four fabulous tales of obsession, orchid hunting, revenge and sex.
