LATE 05 Our Virtual Identity

LATE 05: Panellists and Artists

Has the pursuit of identity become virtual? Is this simply an ongoing evolutionary step in human development?

Thursday, 04 June, 6.30pm

LATE 05: Our Virtual Identity explores how our convergence with technology is reshaping our identity. The evening features music by indie-pop sensation Lawrence Arabia and New Zealand Laureate-winning sound artist Phil Dadson, who performs as the EARS trio with John Bell and Paul Winstanley.  PLEASE NOTE: Our advertised DJ, Manuel Bundy, is unable to make an appearance this evening. DJ Cian will be taking his place.

The Smart Talk will again be moderated by Finlay Macdonald, who together with special guests, asks if the pursuit of identity has become virtual, and is this simply an ongoing evolutionary step in human development?

The entire Museum will be open to the public on this night, allowing you to experience the exciting Sonic Museum exhibition.  Headphone hire charges will apply.

Food and a cash bar will be available.  Please enter via the Southern Atrium entrance.
