The Museum’s Natural History Information Centre provides the opportunity for visitors to find out more about our exhibits, our natural science collections and New Zealand’s unique natural environment.
The centre can be found in the Origins Gallery, on the first floor. With a strong emphasis on multi-media resources, the information centre provides interactive access to a diverse range of natural history topics. We can also provide information on the various organisations that are involved in the protection of New Zealand’s natural environment.
Our staff are available to answer your questions and to assist with the use of resources. We also cater to school, hobby and special interest groups who can pre-book for a focused tour.
