This year's season of LATE at the Museum events welcomes a year-long investigation into the theme of innovation – featuring panel discussions with this country’s leading innovators and music by our top performers.
This LATE explores the contentious topic of the future of the production of our food. Is bio-technology the future of food?
Proponents claim food technology could help to feed the most impoverished parts of this world and even fuel our cars. Opponents claim the industrialisation of agriculture is profit driven, and not only decreases the quality of our food, but escalates issues of hunger as crops are increasingly grown to feed and fuel the developed the world.
