Teacher’s Visiting Guidelines

Auckland Museum is committed to making Museum collections accessible to schools and early childhood groups.

Our programmes suit an integrated approach to curriculum delivery. Tailoring the session to your particular curricular emphasis can be discussed with the museum educator before your visit. 

We recommend you book your programmes three or more months in advance.  You can also lead a self-guided visit to selected galleries and exhibitions.

There are many things to consider when planning a school visit, here you will find some information and guidelines which we hope will help. From opening hours, bookings, accompanying adults, health & safety to services & facilities and worksheets - we aim to make your visit a smooth one.
