Follow the AQUA Trail

FREE
Daily, 10am - 5pm

Follow our first mobile trail to uncover the water stories behind some of the incredible objects in our galleries — from Wild Child to Maori Court, Origins to the Armoury.

What makes an albatross 'cry'? Why did people in Elizabethan England water their floors? How does water help shape a Japanese sword? How did Gallipoli soldiers quench their thirst when their wells ran dry?

Weave your way through the Museum's displays and discover the intriguing water stories they have to tell.
