Oceans and Sealife

What is an Ocean? What kinds of plants & animals live in the Ocean and what can we learn about them? Join our Oceans & Sea Life programme for answers to these questions and more!

Through exploration and investigation in the Weird & Wonderful and Oceans galleries learn how many Oceans there are, where they are located and explore & investigate various forms of sea life.
Find the answers to some of the curious questions…..Why is the Ocean blue? Why is the Ocean salty?

We’ll find out! This programme gives children a hands-on learning experience. Through examination of specimens, collections, stories, song and activity children will have an inspiring Marine experience.
