Auckland Museum presented for the first time CAMERA Season of Photography, a major showcase of some of the most remarkable wildlife and documentary photography from New Zealand.

URBANLIFE

Hear Auckland youth expressing their vision for the city’s future. Six groups from around Auckland have tackled the big issues: employment, housing, culture, education, economic well-being and environment. Join us in November to see them express their solutions for our future through screenprinting, soundscapes, spoken word, photography, theatre and graffiti art.

THE POISONERS!

The Poisoners! was a whodunit where visitors searched for clues to figure out who killed Professor Felix Splicer and which poisonous plant or deadly animal they used to do it. Clues were hidden in four rooms belonging to the four key suspects: mad scientist Dr Helix Splicer, Toxica Fay Tully, Anastasia “Nastie” Van Abs, and Alain “Sharky” Coasteau.

ANNE FRANK: A HISTORY FOR TODAY

Anne Frank was one of more than one million Jewish children who died in the Holocaust. This exhibition draws on material from her famous diary, written while in hiding from Nazi persecution, and over 200 Frank family photos to tell Anne’s story.
