The Museum Circle is an independent charitable trust founded in 2001 with the specific aim of supporting the Auckland Museum.

In the past 10 years the Museum Circle has successfully carried out two major capital raising campaigns for the Museum - Names in Stone and With a View to the Future.

The Museum Circle has now established an Endowment Fund.

Members develop a special relationship with the Museum. With three levels of participation, the Circle offers members the opportunity to establish a level of involvement that suits them personally, whilst providing a wonderful range of activities, social functions and spectacular custom-designed trips to cultural destinations around the world.

Membership levels

Benefactor	$250 per year ($50 subscription, $200 donation)
Benefactor (Joint)	$400 per year, (100 subscription, $300 donation)
Patron	$1,000 per year ($200 subscription, $800 donation)
Patron (Joint)	$1,500 per year ($400 subscription, $1,100 donation)
Inner Circle For members 35 years and younger (Single Invitation)	$150 per year ($50 subscription, $100 donation)
Patrons enjoy all the above benefits plus an invitation to the Annual Patrons Dinner with the Director of the Museum and the guest of Honour.

Please note that the Museum Circle Foundation is incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and the amount of the donation recorded above may be available to be claimed for personal income tax purposes.
