Getting Here & ParkingAuckland Museum can be easily reached from any part of the city, by car or public transport.The Museum is close to the motorways and the city centre and in easy walking distance from the popular shopping and cafe areas of Parnell Village and Newmarket.

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are located in the front of the Museum and at the Atrium Entrance. Paid disabled parking is available in the Museum carpark. A wheelchair ramp is located at the two main entrances. Also see Disability Access.
This car park is under CCTV and security surveillance. Entry from Maunsell Road which is the Newmarket side of the Domain. The car park pay station accepts VISA, MasterCard, EFTPOS and cash up to $20 notes.
