Beverages

Beverages may be purchased from the caterers or you may choose to provide your own. If you provide your own beverages (or the caterer provides some and you provide some) a BYO charge of $8.00 + GST per person will apply payable to the Museum. The Museum's accredited beverage supplier is Pernod Ricard New Zealand Ltd who will be happy to provide a quote from their extensive portfolio. Please email Amberlee Robinson or phone 027 570 8171.

Please liaise with your caterer to provide ice and bins for BYO beverages in the Grand Foyer or gallery spaces; chilling facilities are available in the Event Centre and Auditorium.

Catering

Our events are professionally catered by our accredited caterers. It is essential that only accredited caterers are used as they are familiar with our limited facilities, able to keep to strict set-up and pack out times and still maintain high standards. Self catering at the Auckland Museum is not possible.
The Event Centre has a purpose built 100sq m finishing kitchen for caterers to utilise.
For events in the Grand Foyer, the caterers can rent BBs Café kitchen - as the café
operates as a separate business unit from the Museum this is organised directly with the
café manager.
