Auckland Museum aims to engage children in educational experiences through innovation and excellence in exhibitions, activity programmes, and use of its collection. The Museum encourages children to confidently develop an understanding of the world around them by exploring cultures, the arts, science and the environment.

Note: Parents or guardians shall provide supervision and care for children under the age of 14 while attending the Museum.  The Museum does not accept responsibility for any children left unattended.

 

 


  Treasures & Tales under redevelopment Please note:

Treasures & Tales will be closed for a major redevelopment from early October 2007 until mid 2008. The new centre will reflect the human and cultural history and diversity of Auckland.
