Stevenson Discovery Centres
The Stevenson Discovery Centres promote learning while your child is having fun. Weird & Wonderful is a place you can explore the sometimes weird but always wonderful, world of nature. Marvel at cultures from around the world in Treasures & Tales.

Self-Guided Family Trails
Trails are a great self-guided way for your family to get the most from your Museum visit. Trails include the Natural History Walk on the Wild Side, the He taonga Maori trail through the Maori Court and The Historic Tour of The Domain. The trails are available to download from the Kids & Family:Star Attractions section of the website or can be picked up from the Information Desk.

Maori court
Visitors to He Taonga Maori (Maori Treasures) are presented with a story that relates the past, the present and something of the future of Maori in New Zealand.
The Auckland Museum is the only venue in Auckland that provides authentic Maori cultural performances on a daily basis.
