Back in BlackIt’s not every day these women’s garments were worn, and it’s not every day they’re displayed either. Light can affect the fabric and we need to preserve them for future generations to appreciate. These outfits date from the 19th century to the present day, and together they tell a story not only about changing fashions, but also about the changing roles of the women who wore them.
