Big BonedPeople sometimes get quite excited when they come across large bones in the wild or on farms. Occasionally these might turn out to be moa bones, but more often than not they’re common cow or sheep bones. So we keep a full articulated cow skeleton in the Land Vertebrates Department to help identify such “discoveries”.
