Making TimeLong before the digital revolution, traditional watchmaking was one of the most specialised crafts, and its practitioners were the highest in the order of the honourable guilds. This collection of watchmaking instruments was gifted to the museum by the New Zealand Horological Institute – a venerable organisation that lives on today as part of the Jewellers and Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc.
