Masks, Shields and Clubs

These masks and shields from Africa, clubs from the Pacific and Australian Aboriginal shields and carriers represent the variety of ethnological objects in the collections. While they do not belong to dedicated permanent exhibitions, they are still important to museum’s role as a research institution.
