Museum Library Tours

SATURDAYS 24 JULY – 28 AUGUST, 10.30 – 11AM

The Auckland Museum Library is amongst the most significant research libraries in New Zealand. Its incredible collections of books, rare manuscripts and archives are available for use by the general public, as well as academics and researchers.

Discover the library’s incredible resources on our library tours, which use food as a theme to explore rarely seen collections of menus, recipe books, wartime food archives and fascinating material about the humble bee. Auckland Museum Library staff introduce you to fascinating treasures in many formats and all around the theme of food.

Spaces are limited on these popular tours, so make sure you book in advance.
