Our programmes are supported by Te Whariki and offer interactive experiences which stimulate curiosity, imaginative thinking and the desire to learn more.
Year 1 to 8 Programmes Year 1 to 8 Programmes
Our Year 1 to 8 programmes combine the vision for The New Zealand Curriculum for young people with that of Auckland War Memorial Museum’s He Oranga tangata Ka Ao - Enriching Lives: Inspiring Discoveries. These programmes are hands-on and minds-on opportunities to link your curriculum with our collections, purposes and people.
Year 9 to 13 Programmes Year 9 to 13 Programmes
Our secondary schools programmes draw on museum galleries, research collections, the war memorial and a changing suite of exhibitions, to support teaching and learning for a selection of senior secondary subjects. For these subjects, our programmes provide access to materials and internal assessment resources for the main national qualification.
