Under the elegant copper dome on the roof of the Auckland Museum sits the Lion Foundation Event Centre.
This circular glazed space offers panoramic views across Auckland and can seat up to 450 guests for lunch or dinner, and can host up to 700 guests for cocktails.
The Event Centre is suitable for corporate and private events including weddings, dinners, cocktail parties or small exhibitions. There are two pre-function spaces.
Venue hire includes the use of up to 45 oval banquet tables and 450 banquet chairs.
The catering supplier can provide cutlery, crockery and bar equipment if required.
The Event Centre is available for both day and evening events 7 days a week.
