Teacher Information
EXHIBITION NOW CLOSED
AQUA is a multi-sensory experience that prompts reflection on the need to protect and promote access to water, essential to all forms of life.
360-degree projections, music, visual effects, and water installations (the water is fully recycled) lead students on an adventure where they are both actors and spectators, leaving them with an acute awareness of the need to protect and increase access to water, both locally and globally. Curriculum links
AQUA has strong links with key competencies of The New Zealand Curriculum allowing schools to examine curriculum values of ecological sustainability, equity and community participation for a common good. It also supports innovation, inquiry and curiosity. The experience also provides the platform for students to explore and express the value of respect for themselves, others and human rights.
