What are the opening hours?
The exhibition is open 10am and closes at 5pm with the last session going in at 4pm. Check your preferred date on the Ticketek website.

What is the price for tickets and how do I book?
• Adults $24.50
• Concession $19.50 (Students with valid ID and Gold Card holders – not community services card)
• Children $13.50 (3-15 inclusive)
• Family A (1 adult, 2 children) $46.50
• Family B (2 adults, 2 children) $67.50
• Under 3 free

Are there extra booking fees?
No. Tickets are sold through Ticketek online and on-site and ticket prices include Ticketek booking fees.
What session times are there?
Session times will be available every half hour from 10am (e.g. 10am, 10.30am, 11am…). The last session time will conclude at 4pm.
Why are there session times?
This is to manage the number of visitors in the venue at any one time so that we can provide an enjoyable experience for all.
What is the recommended viewing time?
It is recommended you allow up to 90 mins for a complete viewing experience.
Can you buy tickets at the Museum?
Yes, tickets will be available from the exhibition ticket desk when the exhibition opens on Friday 30 March. We strongly encourage you to buy tickets before you arrive so ensure you can secure tickets for your preferred session time. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for all sessions at the door.
Are we able to take photographs?
Yes but please do not use flash.
I purchased tickets online – do I need a copy of the paper ticket to gain entry?
Please have a version of your e ticket on your phone or a hardcopy on arrival.
From what age will children be charged for entry?
3 and above.
Who is included in the concession price?
Concession price is for gold card holders and students with current valid student ID and does not include community services card.
What is the age limit for children’s tickets?
3-15. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult within the exhibition.
Are food and drinks allowed?
Food and drink are not allowed in the exhibition.
Is there an area to leave personal belongings?
Auckland Museum has lockers and a bag check area. Please read our amenities section to learn more.
Are there ATMs nearby?
There is an ATM in the Atrium near the exhibition.
Is there wheelchair and pram access?
Yes. Please read our access section for more information.
Will I be able to play with LEGO?
Yes, there will be lots of play stations within the event that provide an opportunity to build your own creation.
Can I buy LEGO or Brickman merchandise?
Yes, there will be a dedicated retail pop-up shop outside the exhibition in the Atrium.
Are there other LEGO events being held at Auckland Museum?
Yes. During the school holidays in April, you can pick up a treasure hunt trail to find LEGO® masquerading as Museum objects and go in the draw to win a fab LEGO prize pack.
