Mat, pandanus. Plaited pandanus (kie) mat with double border of overlaid black pattern. This type of mat appears to be a recent development of the men's waist mats. Made by Misala Maheusi. Purchased at Rennell-Bellona stall outside Mendana Hotel, Honiara. Aug. 1994.
