Kali bitu. Bamboo kali. This kali bitu is made from composite materials and consists of a segment of bitu (bamboo) for the tolo ni kali and two yava ni kali (support legs for the kali) lashed to the underside of the bitu with magimagi (coconut sennit). The bitu is short and cylindrical in shape, and brown in colour. It is open ended and hollow through the middle. The two yava are carved from solid kau (wood) and flare outwards at their base."VENIAZI" is incised into the side of the bitu.
