Iri Buli. Fan. Woven in the style distinctive to the women of Daku village, Tailevu province. Woven from drau ni niu (coconut leaflet) (coconut leaflets) of natural colour, and magimagi (coconut sennit) braided in tali tolu (3 ply braiding technique) tightly wrapped around the handle. Blade's commencement at centre base, woven out in vertical twill. Blade is shaped like a spade. Identical on both sides, though a loss at one side of the blade. Some soot and dirt on the fan from previous use. Two holes in the iri possibly due to insect damage.
