    Trumpet shell (English)

  • Description

    Davui. Trumpet shell. This large davui (Charonia tritonis) is of a mottled brown and off-white colour, and has a small hole cut in the end to produce sound when blown. There is a crack on the outside of the shell. Several chips along the rim.
