Te mwae te nikabono. Neck ornament of conus shells. Sixty two segments of nouo (conus shell) ground and polished into flat circular discs, perforated near edge and strung onto dark brown te kora (coconut sennit). The nouo discs are off-white in colour with natural spiralled speckling across the surface. There is a hole at the centre of many of the nouo discs.
