Tapa. This tapa is made of bark and is light-brown in colour. In intervals across the tapa are twelve brown impressions of ma'i u'u tafai (lycopdium) within borders of ti'ati'a mou'a (fern) also impressed in brown colour. Both plants are found only in mountainous areas of Tahiti. Oldman note: "Ex Duke of Leeds Coll." illustrated in "Polynesian Artifacts" pl 122.
