Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). Dark grey in colour. Triangular in cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Bevel surface is shallow, highly polished. Sides left flaked. Front of the blade is ighly polished but left unfinished towards the top. Reduction towards the butt but left unfinished. Overall surface treatment is highly polished towards the bevel and cutting edge but stone is roughly worked or unfinished towards the top.
