Stone pounder. This is a pounder made of stone. The pounding base is circular and round in cross-section, the diameter of the base is 115mm. Along its height it is reduced to a narrow neck and then flares again to a saddle grip. Some nicks can be seen across the surface areas of stone pounder. It is heavy in weight and of a dark charcoal colour.
