Penu. Stone pounder. This penu (pounder) has been worked and smoothed from ofa'i (stone). It has a cylindrical shaft that flares out towards the base, with a convex pounding surface. The grip end of the penu is topped with two jagged projections. The penu is dark grey in colour.
