    Gourd

    Made from calabash, lime, pigment, paper, and plant fibre. A hollowed gourd with a small opening with neck that flares towards body, the body is spherical. The gourd has a brown coloured base with carved designs of cross-hatched and bands, cross hatch is coloured with white lime, the bands are coloured black. The top opening has a paper stopper with a dried plant fibre rope
