    Pule ta'i fe'e

    Pule ta'i fe'e, squid lure

    dark top shaped stone. two pieces of shell, strip of root, piece of leaf. length of line and small wooden float.

    This pule ta o fe'e, or octopus lure, is made from a large shell with a sennit rope and a wooden sinker. These lures were used to draw out an octopus from its hiding place.
