  • Description

    Kumete. Bowl. Used as a container to hold food or liquids. Carved from tamanu (mahogany) wood. Round, tear drop shape. Spout carved into one end. Brown in colour. Surface is rough to the touch. Areas of insect damage. Crack on the side of the kumete.
