Description: oval carriage clock, verge escapement, finely pierced balance cock and foot, steel balance wheel with three shaped arms, balance controlled by index which is a later addition, replacing an arm mounted on the foot of balance cock, turned pillars, fusee and chain, brass train wheels, worm gear for setting mainspring on back plate, 4-train movement strikes hours and quarters and has alarm, quarter striking is on small bell under dial, hour strike and alarm are on bell inside case back, both striking trains use locking plate, raised white enamel dial with beetle and poker hands and gilt alarm disc, gilt brass case pierced on back and sides, pendant is on top of case back.
