Description: This journal gives a day to day account of Williams' work in the mission ; attending services, baptisms, and missionary schools, as well as his other personal engagements and activities. Throughout there are reports of visits to surrounding districts, and of the mission work in Maori villages. There are also accounts of intertribal quarrels, some mention of Tikanga Maori, and other practises such as cannibalism and slavery.
