Taniwha! is back by popular demand for a limited season these holidays.
Building on our Taniwha! show in July, we bring you more stories of Auckland’s taniwha and their special places.
Dive into the deep and come face-to-face with the power of Taniwha! Immerse yourself in the stories of Auckland’s physical and cultural landscape in this New Zealand stage show created in collaboration with ERTH, the company behind the internationally successful show Dinosaur Petting Zoo.
Stories that have been told for hundreds of years are brought to life in Taniwha! with traditional and shadow puppetry, live actors and audio visual storytelling.
Some scenes may frighten pre-school children. No taniwha were harmed in the making of this show.
PLEASE NOTE: Children under 14 years of age need to accompanied by an adult within the Museum.
