Tourism and Event Sales Manager
Adam is the Museum’s champion for tourism. He tirelessly positions and promotes the Museum as a ‘must see’ destination for visitors to Auckland.
Another important aspect of his role is ensuring that relationships with New Zealand’s tourism authorities and operators are nurtured and totally maximised.
During his career Adam has acquired a vast network of contacts, which is hugely helpful for promoting the Museum as a premier venue for stand-out corporate and private events.
“Working for the Museum is an opportunity to help New Zealanders and people from other countries learn about our nation’s culture, history and heritage. We have such an amazing collection of treasures and stories here – there really is something for everyone. I also enjoy promoting the incredible places we have for events. From the contemporary Event Centre to the classic Grand Foyer, every space has a special atmosphere.”
Favourite artefact: The Museum
“The Museum itself is my favourite artefact. Built in 1929, it’s a neo-classical icon inspired by Greco-Roman temples. I think it’s the most impressive workplace in the country. “
