Auckland Museum is committed to making Museum collections accessible to schools and early childhood groups.

Our programmes suit an integrated approach to curriculum delivery. Tailoring the session to your particular curricular emphasis can be discussed with the museum educator before your visit. 

We invite you to browse our Schools Programme and register for our education e-Newsletter for regular updates.  We recommend you book your programmes three or more months in advance.  You can also lead a self-guided visit to selected galleries and exhibitions.

CHARGES & BOOKINGS

Whether you wish to make a self-guided visit, or take advantage of working with our educators, it is a safety requirement that all school visits must be booked through the School Bookings Service. Bookings may be made through our Booking Application Form or give us a call on 09) 306-7040 if you wish to discuss your requirements in person.

WEB EXHIBITIONS

Museum staff have created small-scale web exhibitions where online visitors can see a small selection of objects from museum exhibitions. For each object the data stored in the Collection Records will be accessible.
