Join us to support emerging artists that are current students of, and/or recent graduates from, Manukau Institute of Technology, the University of Auckland and Unitec Institute of Technology as they perform short pieces of dance at Auckland Museum. Each artist brings something different and tells their own stories as people of the Moana.
Dance Aotearoa New Zealand (DANZ) have created Taking Dance to the People to support Māori and Pacific dance artists and give them the opportunity to perform in public spaces. At the same time this project engages with audiences to brings different communities together into one space, to see works such as hip-hop, contemporary and Pacific dance.
