Sitting at just under 4 inches, the Te Pahi medal is a small object with a big story to tell. Presented to Ngāpuhi chief Te Pahi by Governor of NSW, Philip Gidley King, this medal was offered as a token of esteem for their friendship and the sharing of knowledge.
