Join Dr Kahutoi Te Kanawa as she discusses her PhD, "Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho – Intergenerational knowledge transfer through Raranga and Whatu", a creative practice PhD that discusses Mātauranga passed down through five generations over 170 years.
Professor Peter de Lange FLS first visited Rekohu the Chatham Islands in February 1996. Since then, he has made over one hundred visits to the islands. In this lecture Peter will outline what we now know, what we still need to know, and critically what is happening to an island that supports over a quarter of Aotearoa New Zealand's threatened species.
