Join us for a special day exploring the people behind New Zealand's military heritage. Experts from the New Zealand Military Historical Society and other groups share treasured collections, replicas and fascinating stories of the role of our servicemen and women.
There'll be weapons, uniforms, badges, models, medals, military vehicles and favourite pieces to get up close and hands on with.
And for our younger audiences, this year’s event will also feature a WWI nurse's station complete with a couple of 'Sisters' to attend to any unexpected mishaps. It wasn't just bullets that plagued our soldiers - they had to contend with lice, flies and trench foot and more. Visit our 'Sisters' to find out all the gross details.
