  • My name is Stacy McLean. My fathers name is John and Ben McLean would be my Dads uncle. I never knew this side of the family and when I read the article on Stuff.co.nz today. I knew that this man was a relative. I had to check with my dad and he had me check with my Aunty Huia, who confirmed my suspicions. I just want to express my thanks to the family and to a man I never met. Who gave his life, like many other service men. So that we can enjoy the peace and freedoms we have today.
