    Promoted to Temporary Lieutenant 6 December 1917.

    Note on service record at PRO (Kew): 4 November 1918, seriously ill pneumonia, died 6 November 1918.

    Palmer recruit enlisted in Auckland and left NZ 6 December 1916 - Died of pneumonia in Wales likely pandemic victim - buried at Northwest part, Llandysilio [SS Tyssilio and Mary] Churchyard, Anglesey Wales age 32 - reported as serving in HMML 219 at time of death.
