  • Charles Bould was the son of Georgina Bould and the husband of Emmie Mae Russell (nee Bould) who in WW1 was recorded as living at 27 Plunket St., Kelburn, Wellington.

    Bould was Signalling Instructor as well as Instructor for the Maxim Gun Detachment (2 NZMR). He was invalided from Cape Town in August, 1900, aboard the S.S. 'Kumara'. (Stowers, p.152)

    He was Colour-Sergeant of the Wellington Guards.

    Invalided to New Zealand on SS Kumara from Capetown 28 August 1900.

    Married Emmie Mae Trezise in 1915

    World War One, Regimental No. 10/4439, where he was killed in action. AWMM
