    He was from a family of three boys and three girls: Woolf, Lou (61002) and Gus (260543), and 3 sisters Miriam (married name Collinson); Florence (married name Robinson) and Pearl (married name Lerner).

    Attended Auckland Grammar School

    He also generously supported the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

    Two sons, brothers Louis Jacob Fisher (61002) and Gus Fisher (260543) served in WW2.
