      Horace Algernon Braithwaite was reported on May 17 to be out of danger. He is a son of Mr. J. Braithwaite, the well-known Dunedin bookseller and ex-Mayor of that city. He is 23 years of age, unmarried, and was farming in Southland when he enlisted. Two of his brothers are at the front with the New Zealand forces. (Auckland Weekly News, 3 June 1915, p. 20) AWMM
