  • The man in the family before me that never came home. So young, so adventurous. Your father (my great grandfather) no doubt felt the pain of your sudden passing. His son, gone at age 20. Who knows, maybe he wouldn't have taken his own life 10 or so years later. Now, as a great niece, your photo hangs on our wall. I imagine you were someone I would have loved to meet. Lest we forget.
