    On return to New Zealand, was appointed Officer-in-Charge of Trentham Military Camp.

    Four brothers served in WW2 David Alexander (A 401219) James Duncan (NZ39713) and Newton Bishop Abbot (NZ451389) and Gavin Malcolm Abbot (80132).
